Hope you had a great Thanksgiving. I had the perfect Thanksgiving. Great food and surrounded by family. We played a good game - Would you Rather. I am content

Please just stop the world for a second. My house is clean the kids are all occupied and I am content. My life has been slightly out of control lately. The house normally looks like a single mom with 3 boys lives here. Which I have come to accept as the truth. I've made some changes and although I may have some challenging times ahead, at this moment I am content and my house is clean.

I have been neglecting my creative soul lately and hope to rectify that with the rest of my evening. I am so excited to see Dream Big Designs join My Life and Scrap. She creates some really awesome kits and they are 50% off right now. I used one of her kits to get myself scraping again over the week-end. I used Homestead Harvest along with the Brandi template kit by Kate to create this layout of my boys in the yard. It felt good to be scrapping again.

It may mean that I don't go to bed tonight but I am determined to play. I have lost a bit of my scrapping mojo lately. I know taking on a challenge or two at My Life and Scrap will put me in the right direction. My layouts always seem to fall into place when I do the template challenge. I think I will start there. My fingers are twitching with anticipation.

Facebook

I did it - I opened a Facebook account. I find the whole thing a little strange. Not since I was 6, have I asked someone to be my friend and I am not about to start now. I feel terribly guilty for rejecting the requests of others to be their friend.

On the brighter side of Facebook I have re-discovered some of my extended family and I have reconnected with a friend from High School.

I think we all have someone in our past that we wonder what happened to them. The scary thing is in most cases you can now find out by doing a few simple searches. The question is do we really want to know or are the memories in our head/heart a better place for such people to stay?

Nearing the week-end

Wow! I can't believe we are already nearing the end of the week. I love my week-ends, especially when they are like my upcoming week-end - NO PLANS! I have been neglecting my scrapbooking so I hope to get a creative spell.
