This was one of those great days that can't be planned. Mike and Layne were at a soccer game so Eric, Cody and I were left with no plans. My dad was selling his pictures at a craft fair in Illinois. On a whim we decided to go. It was a beautiful drive along the river and a wonderful day.

The above layout is of my beautiful niece on her 1st birthday. I am amazed every time I see her. She is already transforming from a baby to a little girl.

I am thrilled to be now be part of Sirscrapalot's creative team. He will be a part of the new Polka Dot Plum. They will be opening soon so stay on the look out for them.

Moonlight Classic

A Layout from my son's soccer tournament. The kids thought it was so cool to play at night under the lights. Their last game started at 11:30 pm and ended early the next morning.

Rare Photo of Me

Everything from Summer Solstice kit by Edeline Designs and NLD@ Shabby Pickle

I am normally the photographer in my family. I recently needed a picture of myself. After going through the 25,000 pictures on my computer I realized there was nothing current of me. So my 5 year old son and I set up a little photo shoot on our front porch. The pictures from this layout were taken by my son. He made his mommy proud (not for the decent pictures but for the fact that my camera is still in one piece).

Be patient with me as I begin to discover the joys of blogging. I plan to mainly use this as a way to share my passion of digital scrapbooking but you will be sure to get some stories about my crazy life - don't even get me going about the time my husband lost his short term memory. Seriously, I don't make this stuff up but not to worry he is considered back to normal (but we all know he never has been and never will be normal).
Ah, I am already getting off track. Please give me your feed-back as I am as new at this as one can get and will happily take all the advise you are willing to share.
